Terms of Service

1. What Grid Pass Is

Grid Pass is a one-time purchase service. When you pay $3 you are permanently assigned a random number between 1 and 1,000,000. Each number can only be held by one person. You may optionally upload an image to be displayed on your spot on the public grid, subject to review and approval.

The purchase is for a spot assignment — not a financial instrument, investment, or any form of ownership over the Grid Pass platform or its assets.

2. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Payments are non-refundable except in the following cases:

• Your submitted image is rejected by our moderation team, in which case a full $3 refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method.
• A technical error on our end results in a duplicate charge or a failed spot assignment.

Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your card issuer.

3. Image Submissions

You may upload one image per spot. All images are reviewed before appearing on the public grid. We reserve the right to reject any image that:

• Contains hate symbols, slurs, or content that promotes discrimination
• Contains nudity or sexually explicit material
• Infringes on another person's copyright or trademark
• Depicts violence, illegal activity, or content harmful to minors
• Is spam, an advertisement, or otherwise in bad faith

By uploading an image you confirm that you own the rights to it or have permission to use it, and you grant Grid Pass a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it on the public grid.

If your image is rejected you will receive an email notification and a full refund.

4. Your Spot

Your spot number is permanent and will not be reassigned while Grid Pass operates. However, we do not guarantee the perpetual availability of the service. If Grid Pass ceases to operate, spot assignments will cease to have effect.

Spots are non-transferable. You may not sell, auction, or transfer your spot to another person.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Grid Pass to:

• Attempt to claim more than one spot per transaction
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to manipulate the service
• Submit false payment information or engage in chargebacks without legitimate cause
• Interfere with the operation of the service or its infrastructure

6. Privacy

We collect your email address at checkout (via Stripe) to send you your spot confirmation. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to process your payment (Stripe) or send transactional emails.

Uploaded images and assigned numbers are displayed publicly on the grid once approved.

7. Disclaimers

Grid Pass is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. User Content & Liability Disclaimer

Grid Pass is a platform that allows users to submit images for display. We do not create, review for accuracy, or endorse any user-submitted content. All images are submitted solely by the user and remain the sole responsibility of the person who uploaded them.

You, not Grid Pass, are fully responsible for any image you upload. By submitting an image you represent and warrant that:

• You are the original creator of the image, or you hold all necessary rights and licences to submit and publicly display it.
• The image does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy right, publicity right, or any other intellectual property or proprietary right.
• The image does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Grid Pass expressly disclaims all liability arising from user-submitted content. We are not liable for any claims, damages, losses, or expenses — including legal fees — arising out of or related to content uploaded by users, including but not limited to claims of copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, or obscenity.

If you believe content on the grid infringes your copyright, please contact us at info@gridlanding.com with (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the URL or location of the infringing content, and (c) your contact information. We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grid Pass, its owners, operators, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your uploaded content or your breach of these Terms.
